Euro-Holiday (Part 3a)

VIENNA Twei kave mit schlag, bitte.
After several glorious days in Scotland, we took a short flight back to London, spent the night, and flew off to Vienna. Here we stayed for a week, taking in most of the city by foot, many of the amazing sites, as much coffee and pastries as we could ingest, and Eric's conference. We ate to our hearts' content... as in often and well. Beltlines definately expanded. We also celebrated our 2nd anniversary here, feasting on veal and beef, but alas, no pork. Those large circular things with lemon wedges in the middle are actually Weiner Schnitzel. Larger than the plate. Eric ate all of his and received a rousing 'Bravo' from the waiter.
Vienna city center must be the most well preserved city in Europe. You'll see in the photos that when the sun hits just right, some of the buildings literally shine.
