Blog Hiatus (Part III)

Last year, a couple of visitors come through... Ann and Andy Powell visited us in April, then Bobby came for a couple weeks in May. We took the opportunity to travel with A&A to Tasmania and then up to far north Queensland with Babak. Both places are remarkable.

Cape Tribulation and the Daintree National Park, where the rainforest meets the reef.

Spotting crocs amongst the mangroves.

About to join the fish in the Great Barrier Reef.

Bobby cooling off at the 'blue hole' locals only swimming hole.

Spending quality time with little rock wallabys around Mareeba in the Atherton tableland.

Bobby, Melissa and Eric taking in the scenery along the Great Ocean Road.

Down to Tasi with Ann and Andy...

On the fast boat ride along Bruny Island.

Sea lions taking it easy on the rocks. A steady diet of squid produces quite a ferocious smell.

Melissa enjoying a 'cuddle' with a baby wombat at Trowunna Wildlife Park.
