Oliver's 2nd Birthday

Oliver celebrated his 2nd birthday on August 22nd. We had a picnic in prospect park with several close friends and Oliver had a blast. He couldn't get enough of the cupcakes, bubbles, and being pulled on the parachute.

Boy's Day Out

Oliver and Eric went to P.S.1 with their friends Bobby and Saleh. For the past decade, this has been one of the highlights of the summer for interesting art and architecture, a bit of dancing, but most of all for people watching. Amidst the thumping music, spiraling dancers, the crazy furry awning and sooo many hipsters, Oliver was (not surprisingly) strictly focused on... the gravel.

Afterwards, we went around the corner to check out some graffiti.

Marta and Michael, our very good friends from Melbourne, recently came through NYC at the end of a world tour. We were so excited to have them visit after almost a year had passed since we left Australia. Oliver and Melissa tagged along with them all over the city, visiting the L.E.S., the High-line, Century 21, Brooklyn Bridge and much more. They are missed more than ever now and we hope to see them again soon.
